Tested on TWO CONTINENTS!

Repeatedly tested in Europe and the USA and this app is USELESS! Has nothing to do with different kinds of Mosquitos because it doesnt work on any Im being killed by Mosquitos at a wedding rehersal writing this. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Nice

I read most reviews of this app.. It seems like 50% works 50% not. Well.. it works quiet well for me though.

Doesnt work!!!

My girlfriend was bitten 5 TIMES while this app was supposedly working. What at a joke and waste of $1!!!

Ok

I gave it 3 stars because it works but I can also here it I no it would annoy the Mosquitos because it sure annoys me.

Great!

It works well when my iphone is locked. I used for couple of days, I no longer see mosquitoes in my room.

Dont buy!

Does not work! I was hopefull, but no such luck. Save the buck for a can of Off.

DONT BUY!!!!!!!!

This thing su(ks balls I bought this and the mosquitos were biting me even more and I even used an external speaker! they should pay me to use this app

simply doesnt work

I was at an outdoor event just tonight. Went to turn it on and noticed there was an update available so I did that first. Turned it on and put in on my lap right next to the mosquitos biting me. They could not have cared less that it was on. Had to resort to using "off" like everybody else. I can hear it go through a series of 3 different pitches/sounds and then go silent but for an occasional clicking sound. Then the series of pitches again. Its set to "normal" mode. Would that actually be "fluctuation" mode? Im not even sure its working right. I have to hit the "i" button several times to get the settings to come up. This is a 1 month old 3GS with 3.0 OS. I want my .99 back, lol.

Doesnt work

Someone left the door open at my office and mosquitos came in so I turned on this app and plugged into my applified speakers that are less than a foot in front of me. I got stung in the arm directly in front of the speaker. It bothered my coworkers more than the mosquitos.

Did not seem effective

I had trouble getting this app to work . . . it seemed to turn off, even though I set a duration time for it. Even when I left it on, visibly working, it did not seem to be effective. I think I had as many bites as I would have had without it. Its a nice idea, but was a real disappointment.

They love it

Turned it on, and before I could place it on the table a mosquito came within a quarter inch of my ipod and proceeded to go to work on my hand. Using my other hand I brought the ipod down on top of it and ended its life. Is there a SaniWipe app out there to remove blood from an ipod?

My kids can still hear it

Hi I just want to say this app is very good at keeping moquitoes away. But... I usually have to watch out when I use it because my kids say they can hear it and it still hurts their ears even if I use child safe mode. My kids dont joke about this stuff either. Update please! 5 stars if that is fixed.

Does not work on TEXAS Mosquitos

I had this thing turned up all the way up I could even hear it! Guess Texas Mosquito’s are deaf! I got eaten up alive.

I had Mosquitos landing on me and my iPhone tonight.

Something needs to be changed or the frequency needs to be made louder/higher. I boldly walked into the garden holding out this application and got swarmed. I totally feel silly for wasting my money unless an update can make it better.

Mr.

I had the speaker an inch away from the mosquito and it didnt do a darn thing.

Quiet good.

It works well with stereo inside like others saying, but Im not sure how far iPhone itself can cover without speakers. Anyway it is pretty effective in the room.

I guess it works

All bugs are gone. I guess it is because of this.

Work very well.

I dont know why we never used this kind of stuff before. Its worth buying.

Works well

I live in New Orleans which is full of mosquitos most of the year. App works well in the city but doesnt hold up in the swamps or out in the country. Maybe some bugs are immune. Still this app is totally worth it if youre tortured by mosquitos like I am.

Warning to all!!! Ultrasonic pest repellers do not work!!!!

This app is a rip-off!!! Ultrasonic devices work, according to one advertisement, by "mimicking the sound of the bat--the mosquitos greatest enemy." (They emit sound in the 20-50 kiloHertz range, higher than humans can detect.) While its true that bats eat mosquitoes and that bats make ultrasonic sounds (they navigate through a sort of natural radar), the humble mosquito apparently cant make the connection. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency conducted two years of tests in the mosquito-ridden area around Chesapeake Bay, trying virtually every type of electronic repeller they could lay their hands on. Not a one had any noticeable effect on mosquitoes, or, if its any comfort, on humans (although some say the latter question hasnt been studied in sufficient depth). Subsequent research at various universities has pretty much borne out the EPAs findings. Both the EPA and the U.S. Postal Service have gone after ultrasonic repeller makers for making unsupported claims for their products.
