Pretty good! So Far......

I bought an external speaker off of e-bay, and it it pretty good. I cranked it up and put my first gen ipod touch right up to my ear, i could definitly hear something and it hurt a little. I have not tested it on bugs or mosquitos yet, i am looking for a mosquito or bug. Please fix clicking( it makes the high pitched sound then clicks to nothing then back then audible tones then back) so far so good!!!

Nice App

Interesting and Productive!

Review from West Africa

I have just bought this app and will put of through the ringer here in west Africa... Stand by for a review of this product vs African mozzies... With and without external speaker running. UPDATE: test results Im Gabon not very good. I sat on the patio next to garden with plenty of mozzies. Tested both just iPhone speakers and external speakers no visible effect. They came they stayed they were trying to bite me. Several had the audacity to land on my iPhone speakers while playing the noise!!!! Not with it save your 99 cents!

Doesnt work

I held up my external speakers up toward a bunch of Mosquitos and there was no reaction. They still hovering/standing on the same spot.

Awesome app

I got this and its cool but still has to fix some things with this app.

Buy insect repellent instead!!!

Didnt work at all. Still got bit many times. One mosquito even landed on my iPhone while the app was running! I should have put the money towards a can of Off instead! Dont waste your money!

Works only with external speakers

I bought this while on a camping trip. Installed on an iphone4. With the phone only it was totally uneffective. However with a portable speaker/docking station by Logiteck Model EA942 resting on my lap while on a lounge chair in a mosquito infested woods at dusk, they stayed away. (From me only, not those around me)

Fake

Dont buy it. I held my speakerset right up to mozzies on a screen and they didnt budge. Dont waste ur money. Itunes, u shud be ashamed of yourselves for selling such garbage.

fake

i put the application with an external device and a lot of mosquitos are coming in front of the device

It really works.

I read about this from Macworld. I think its very clever. And it really works well. All the mosquitoes are gone away from my room. I synced 5 devices, and purchased one more for another one. Now my wife and kids use it, and they are much more safer than last summer. I also use it at work and my space is the one and only place never attacked.

Works

There was a mosquito in my room yesterday before I go to sleep. I heard it close to me. I put it on and in a few seconds the mosquito was gone. It works!!

Not good

I was taunted by a mosquito shortly after turning this app on...not worth buying...

Bull.....

Doesnt do a thing

Unbelievable...

...what passes for an app. Total crap. Granted, there were lots of them, but I still ended up with 18 bites. Is there anything less than 1 star???

How do I give fewer than 1 star?

What a joke. Downloaded, installed and hooked up my iPhone 3GS to a portable speaker system and then watched as three of us were eaten alive by mosquitos within 4 feet of the speakers! Made sure it was on (could see the iPhone speaker graphic changing and occasionally hear a hissing sound a couple of pops). People at the opposite end of a 12 foot table with citronella candles did marginally better. Dont waste your money.

Works

This is the only app really works among various apps I tried.

Maybe with a speaker, but . . .

I turned Anti Mosquito 2.0 on and put my iPhone on my coffee table. Two mosquitoes landed near it shortly thereafter. I have the first-generation iPhone, so maybe the speaker isnt up to the task, and I didnt attach an external speaker, which was recommended. But for me, it wasnt useful.

Dont buy

These bugs must be deaf or just extra hungry cause they still BITE!

Bad Ap

I purchased this ap prior to heading to the lake for a long weekend. It had absolutely no effect on the mosquitos whatsoever. Dont waste your money.
